What does liquid amoxicillin for adults taste like?
Q. I am unable to take the huge antibiotic pills, and the only way I remember the liquid form is the strawberry/bubblegum flavor from when I was a kid. Now, as an adult, I'm wondering if they are going to give me the good flavored stuff, or if I'm going to get stuck with some nasty bitter medicine. If any adults who have recently had the liquid form can give me an idea of what it tastes like, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

A. I've had strawberry liquid amoxicillin in the past, and I know that you can also get orange. Augmentin suspension that you reconstitute with water yourself comes in all kinds of flavours - cherry, watermelon, banana. Usually it's pretty customary to flavour liquid medications for adults as well as kids to disguise any unpleasant taste and make them more palatable, but check with your doctor to be sure.
